About Fish fanatix
A Love for Reefs. A Place to Learn.
Fishfanatix is a Houston-area coral business built around a simple idea: learning should be part of the aquarium-shopping experience. Whether you’re planning your first saltwater tank or exploring your next coral, we want you to understand what you’re choosing and what it needs.
Our current focus is coral frags, including zoanthids, soft corals, LPS, and SPS. We’re building an education-first experience that connects practical reefkeeping guidance with thoughtful livestock choices—from planning your tank and setting it up to checking readiness and choosing its inhabitants.

Learn first. Choose thoughtfully. Grow your reefkeeping confidence.
Why Education Comes First
A beautiful coral should fit more than your wish list—it should fit your aquarium and the care you can provide. Our goal is to make the learning process approachable, explain unfamiliar terms, and help you ask useful questions before you buy.
You don’t need to know everything on day one. Start with a plan, build your understanding step by step, and keep learning as your aquarium develops.
Let’s Talk About Your Reef
We’re here to help you learn, ask questions, and feel more confident caring for your reef. There are many ways to build and maintain a successful aquarium, and our guidance isn’t set in stone. Every tank is different, and what works for one hobbyist may need adjusting for another.
We share what we’ve learned through the day-to-day experience of running a coral business and caring for our own systems, then relate those lessons to your aquarium at home. Our goal is to explain what has worked for us, help you understand the reasons behind it, and give you a useful starting point as you find what works for your reef.
Whether you’re just getting started or working through a question along the way, reach out. We’re happy to share our experience and help you think through your next step.
